pagetelegram: I was awarded a D in typography class during my college years after getting an A in all other assignments over a professor that did not like the fact that I was partial to fixed-width fonts as used in my final assignment. Today from FreeWrite to Unihertz to Minimal Phone, they all use fixed width fonts in their marketing, among many others. I was ahead of my time! Other classes I took bare similar examples where I got a below average grade because I was ahead of the times.
