With a casual dismissal and ridicule, he brushed it off at face value, exposing a surprising lack of intellectual rigor. Ironically, this was the same person who endlessly drew parallels between society and the dystopian film They Live—a prescient metaphor for hidden manipulations. Yet when I uncovered an overlooked infiltration in television programming—the sub-audible signals subtly influencing the human nervous system—he couldn't see beyond the surface.

That encounter left me discouraged, and the video below became my final public statement on the matter before I went silent. I haven't spoken to him since.

The question about asterisks and em-dashes is easily addressed by the cheater and well; before AI took over writer's brains, em-dashes were actually encouraged in academia. If you didn't know how to produce one on the computer, welcome to second class typography 101.
